Saturn from between the conifers from 06.10.2022

Finally managed a Saturn image, that i was willing to post 🙂  Certainly not my best by a long way, but UK planetary imaging is seldom easy.

Still pretty low and having to play dodge the conifer, from my observatory. It was nice to capture a reasonable image, before turning to Jupiter later in the evening.

The usual set up C9.25, asi224mc, ADC, X1.8 Barlow.  300 seconds, stacking 20%

Some nice banding there. It is a challenge under UK skies isn't it?

I think i am well out of practice processing wise as well, not sure the data i had on the 2nd was worth the time i spent on it. Last nights Jupiter data is much better.

I know what you mean about the effort, but it is still good to be out and capturing some images . Looking forward to see your Jupiter. My Jupiter faired better last night than my Saturn.
