Advice with camera lens

Hi can some one give me some advice on a camera lens.The lens i use with my Canon ESO 300D camera is a 18-55mm.Can i use a manual Prinz Galaxy F=200mm lens which will fit into a m42 thread then to a baynout fitting to the camera or will it not work out for the camera Thanks.Mark

Mark, as long as you've got the fittings there's no reason it shouldn't do. I think you'll need an M42 to EF converter

An M42 thread is the old Pentax/Practica fitment so a very slimline Pentax to Canon adapter should work. Here is an example:-

Hi mark, I use one of those for my soligor 200mm prime lens in my 450d, you should be fine with one.
