A couple of planets from last night!

Hi all, I dont normally do planets as I like the DSO stuff but last night i dragged my old SW 127 mak out and dusted off my old ASI 120mc. Once I was set clouds rolled in so had to wait a few hours but just as i was giving up the clouds parted and I had a quick few mins at both Jupiter and Saturn. The sky was moving around a lot and my camera was having a hissey fit! but managed to get a couple of runs on both. Not really in the big boys league but Im happy with what I got.

They brush up nicely! Something odd with the Jupiter, I can't get it to go in Registax it just turned blue, so left it at PS and just did an auto colour, and reduce image size from 960 pixels to 760.

Saturn, in Registax, only did a Balance RGB, and in PS reduce image size slightly.

That looks a lot better! Will have another play with the data tomorrow and see if I can get close to what you are getting\

Couldnt wait so had a quick redo. Think they look better.

Hadnt noticed that I got one of the moons of Jupiter till I did the redo.
