I do have many questions as I'm determined to become proficient at my new hobby and don't want to appear lazy by not doing my own reading and research etc. but, for instance the night before last was really clear and Orion jumped at out me walking back from the shop so I got my scope out, pointed it in the area to the lower left side of the belt where I thought the nebula was and promptly got sidetracked by all the stars its so easy to get lost, I did latch on to and follow what may have been a satellite though !
