Is that the zwo cam? I have the altair hypercam version and it's very slow. Hard to get above 17fps even with reduced roi.

Yes it is.

I use ROI 2350 x 2080 and just mange to squeeze the sun in.

 

8 bit I get 60 fps,

In Firecapure select "high speed" and up the USB traffic.

 

I also have a PCI fast hard drive.

.......mind I have since read the altair versions are re-badged.
