Skywatcher EQ3 Pro mount 1 star alignment timeout

Hi all.

Apologies if I have posted this in the wrong place but I am new to the forum scene.

I have a Skywatcher EQ3 PRO mount and having a nightmare of a time with alignment issues, after having completed a successful polar scope alignment I go on to try a one star alignment for the scope, after picking the star for the scope to point to and the mount attempting to find the star it then asks you to manualy align the scope using the corresponding controls on the keypad but while in the middle of doing this the the Sun Scan Pro app times out and returns to the main display screen. 

Has anyone ever come across this before ?

Does anyone know if there is a way to extend the amount of time you have to complete alignment ?

Operating on I Phone 13 max pro using synscan pro .

Hi

If you are losing connection to synscan you could try using a different wifi channel from the default which I think is 6, could try channel 13. That's done from the app.
