Selling Pentax XW Eyepieces

Hi all 

I'm looking at selling my XW 30 , 20 and 10 Pentax XW eyepieces and I see the new 30mm has -S after it .

is this a new model or are they still the same spec as my 3 eyepieces  ?

I know that the 30mm and the 40mm were only brought back semi-recently and that the ones that were newly produced had  -R (For Ricoh) added at the end. 

I don't think any changes were made to the actual eyepiece itself though, only the name.  Not sure about the -S though, sorry.

I just looked, and the 30mm doesn't have an S after it, just an R, for Ricoh.

There's no -S on the boxes, either.

No changes, either, per the national sales manager for Pentax Sport Optics.

@vlebo Please take a picture of where the Pentax XW 30mm has an S in its designation.  Perhaps you have a misprint, and thus a collectible.

I've noticed there are some folks who think the original 30mm and 40mm XWs are preferable to the new XW-R versions and will pay a premium for them.

All the designs remain unchanged. 

The 30 and 40 have new product numbers because they were withdrawn by Pentax and then rereleased by Ricoh. The others have the same numbers because they have been continuously available both pre and post Ricoh ownership (although they too went through the same packaging change when Ricoh took over).

There is as much difference between an old XW5 and a new XW5 as there is between an old XW40 and a new XW40-R - just age and package branding.
