Nice viewing session tonight.

Here is Saturn through the SCT with a SPC900 webcam, the rings are clearly opening up now.

Very crisp image.

You obviously have a better handle on using wavelets than I do....

That's really excellent Dave. I was trying to image Saturn last night too and the murk made seeing awful. The only thing I would say that was from my location, the atmosphere was more stable than on the 10th, so the image on the laptop screen was nice and stable but no way could I use a barlow to increase the image scale: there was an unacceptable loss of resolution. I've posted my attempt elsewhere on this forum and its no way as good as yours.
