Daf1983
I've been having issues with my guiding lately, especially in RA. I finally has the time and courage to tune the backlash in my HEQ5, and a couple of clear nights let me test it out. Guiding was much more stable, generally between 0.50-0.80 total RMS, never above 0.90. It had been fluctuating wildly, especially post dither, so I'm very happy! This is the image I took over the last 2 nights. This is the first time I've shot this target. I took 5 minute subs for a total integration time of 4 hours. Stacked in DSS and processed in photoshop. Quite happy with the results, but struggled to get much colour out of the data. CC welcome as usual
Marvin Jenkins
Very nice. Looks like you captured some of the AGN in M82. Much better than I have managed. Marv

(From M82 I would say not, but it would depend on the processing).
