Hi all just fancied trying to image the sun  with my c8 edge and 0.7x reducer, just wondered what the difference is behind the two brands of solar filter sheets please and any recommendations for making my own for the c8 thanks

If you're going to view make sure you get the ones for visual use. I've managed to image through them anyhow.

I've got both, choice was baader but it wasn't in stock at the time so got Seymour. They both show similar resolution, the Seymour gives a yellowish hue to the sun, the baader is white. Baader is slightly sharper in my view, but the Seymour seems to be thicker and more durable. Used via a 60mm refractor.
