Possible space junk re-entry tonight through guide scope

Whilst setting up to do a bit of guiding practice in the vicinity of M42 earlier, I thought I was being satellite bombed as there was a streak of light in a capture but the very next capture, this streak had broken into 3 or 4 separate entities, each with a trail of its own. I wonder if it was re-entering junk burning up?

I don't know if PHD2 saves images. If it does, I might be ale to dig it out.
