I have a altair lightwave which I have had to butcher to get I shoulderless adapter in as my Tal could not focus anything below a 10mm. I have a cheap one that I have to use with one of my scopes because the more expensive one would not get close enough to focus. I'm not sure by how much they different though - only a few mm's.
