saturn and the moon

hi, im wondering if its worth a trip up2 our societies obs tomo night if its clear. i want to image saturn using neximager or watec and a 12inch sct but the moon will b v v close and full, will it make any difference to the images i might get?

Light pollution will have less effect on imaging the planets than some other targets. I think it's worth a bash...

Always have a crack at the moon if all else fails.

You might have a bright background, but it will be cope able.
