What are the odds?

Brilliant clear night last evening, with not too much in the way of Moon to bleach the sky.

But I was in the studio with the band rehearsing until 2200hrs, and there was little point rushing home as my telescope is in pieces for a mirror clean and to have the tube professionally repainted.  That won't be back together until Sunday.

So who is up for a wager thst the moment my 'scope is back together and I have an empty diary that the clear skies will vanish?  

Certainly our hobby teaches a zen like patience!

Does anyone else seem to suffer such luck?

Yes like tonight. Arranged a get-together with neighbours. Pristine sky 😖. Was actually a nice evening though.
