Peter Reader
First time I've tried to focus without a Bahtinov mask, using HFR in NINA instead. M81: 23 x 4 min lights and 3 x 4 min darks Horsehead: 29 x 4 min lights and 3 x 4 min darks Still haven't figured out how to take flat frames, which I have been told would prevent the middle of the images being brighter than the edges.
Shibby
Looking good. Focus seems good, too. Flats are probably the most important in my opinion. The low number of darks can actually add noise to the final image, you may be better off without them depending on your stacking method.
barbulo
Fully agree with @Shibby: with a Canon DSLR you shouldn't bother using darks; use flats and bias frames. Flats will eliminate the gradient or vignetting caused by optics, not the one from LP though. This has to be removed in post-processing.
