Walking on the Moon

"Leo Triplet" of Galaxies (M65 M66 NGC3628)

Recommended Posts

Well it finally cleared and what a clear night it is turning out to be, but snow forecast for tomorrow. Unfourtinately I was hoping to get more time on these objects but had trouble setting up "typical" and then they disappeared behind the neighbours large conifer tree. Definitely needs another couple of hours exposure.

6 x 6 Min exposures with the ED80 and 400D, on an EQ5 and guided with a 400mm lens / QHY5 guidecam + Skywatcher Light Pollution filter.

Have some more data from last night to add this evening, had to go to bed at 3am as had to be back up for work at 6:30, why do clear skies happen on a Sunday night, you got to make the most of them when they come and that's not that often.
