Planetary cam 50mm f1.8 on a tripod

Its an experiment trees blocking the planets most evenings and I need something to do

QHY5III ir/uv cut, Baader sky glow, Canon 50mm f1.8, no goto, no guiding, no motors, 80x4sec drift through the FOV. stacked in DSS editing in gimp and my phone.

Wow, that's pretty good.  How did you track it to get 80 4-second captures, just nudge the mount every few seconds?

Yes just release the camera tripod ball head put the same star back at the edge of the FOV on the computer screen. every 30 secs then again 30sec later for about 5 mins.
