Recalibrating iPolar

Recommended Posts

Is there a way to redo the initial calibration of an iOptron iPolar or do I have to reinstall the software?  Reason I'm asking is I think I may have nudged the camera slightly so I'm not certain it's now lined up with how it was when I first installed it.  For info, it's in an adaptor in my Celestron advance GT mount.

I think it depends which version of the software you are running, but it should be something like Settings, and then in the next dialogue box there is an option to 'clear centre of camera'. That should then let you do the calibration process again.
