Kylo Ren'ish and the Milky Way

Hi all,

On the 28th of August I went with my son up to the Teide National Park in order to make a little night hike around the  Roques de García and to take some pictures of the Milky Way. My son decided to bring along his Kylo Ren lightsaber and, well, here you have what happened:

In this image I think I've got a couple Perseids and the laser beam from one of the guides that were hicking around with several tourist groups that night as well.

The gear:

• Canon EOS 600D astromodified
• Tamron SP AF 17-50mm F/2.8 XR Di II SP [IF]
• Shoot RS-60E3 intervalometer
• Stitz CV250DXQ tripod

The software:

• RawTherapee
• The Gimp

Helps if you rotate slowly from a crouch and move upwards, like drawing a tree in 3D

But being one strong in the force,  I caution you about delving into both the dark side of astronomy and the force itself.

The universe is nothing compared to the dark side of the force!
