Venus with Celestron 9.25 SCT

Hi all, my first Venus with the C9.25 SCT taken this afternoon using a Celestron Neximage at prime focus on an EQ6 Pro mount shot in black and white. Not much to say other then it a least shows the phase.

Nicely captured, a very respectable first Venus, you should be very happy with it.

Thanks Brendan. I have imaged Venus previously, but only with the little WO Megrez 72. This is my first attempt with the larger SCT. I used the Neximage set to BW as that seemed to reduce the glare. I now attach a colour image to which was added a Baader constrat booster filter and yellow filter.

Prefer the B&W version as the colour detracts from the definition of the first image, lovely image scale with the 9.25, a great scope for this type of target.
