Equatorial Mount 2 Problems

Hello,

New to this forum and astrology also, so I hope I can get some assistance.

I have just bought a used Celeron Skywatcher 90 -900 with the EQ2 mount, my problem is that the mount will not lock but moves about even when all the screws and knobs are fully tight. It is difficult to view the night sky with this problem.

I would appreciate any advice you all can give me.

Welcome to the forum Alan.

Just be careful with that astrology word on an astronomy forum, lots of people can get rather hot under the collar about it 😉🤣.

Perhaps you could post a few pictures of your setup so people can have a look, it might help get you some better advice.
