Venus ???

Seeking advice for my first attempt at Venus, taken with Panasonic FZ28 and TCON-17 at full zoom (f 4.4 1/8sec ISO 1600). Obviously, I have done something wrong. Why does Venus look full while it is a clear crescent through my telescope.

I would suggest it's not in perfect focus. ALways the hardest thing to do when imaging planets.

Venus is not an easy target ! Moreover, use an apn is not the better solution regarding the shininess of venus.

To obtain a better result, you can use a simple webcam and with the good parameters, you would see the cloud on Venus !

The result is very impressive like you can see it but each time it's done with webcam
