Its hard to get levels at this phase. either the limb is too bright. or the globe is too dark. A compromise must be struck. prefer when the shadow is deeper. But at least i got some darkness with the sky. Makes a change from shooting in daylight

Night time certainly IS more enjoyable!   Great you were out!   We caught the same phase.   I like it in its more natural orientation here - I was rotating my sensor to fit it all in the frame and it was easier to just leave it that way.  lol

 

Oh...  I am so looking forward to crisp fall skies and more time to shoot!!

Me too Mike. Yes we caught the same phase. Still working on mine. i captured another the same night but with a x2 barlow. its a pig to put together though
