Hey everyone, I'm planning on building a dob and I have a list of all the materials I need except for the bearings to rotate the telescope horizontally, what should I use? Thanks in advance.

Good info here on the subject.

Large alt bearings work much better than the small ones found on many dobs. Here’s my Bresser dob that has nice big bearings.

Thanks a lot for the help but i meant the ones at the bottom of the mount, the ones that rotate the scope side to side.

I’m currently building up the materials for a home made dob base, and for the bottom bearing I’m using a 10” lazy Susan, very cheap on eBay, with Teflon pads on the altitude.
