New Moon and Venus, 12 June

I had a very clear evening yesterday and noticed the new Moon was 5 degrees from Venus. This year Venus is hard to see, pretty close to the horizon at sunset.

Nicely captured. Was looking at the moon and Venus last night too around 8:30pm. Couldn’t see naked eye, but found with them with my binos and scope quite easily. Venus looked pretty good in my 4mm EP with semi apo filter fitted.
