Meade ETX 125 & 105 OTA weight.

Hi. I am interested to know what the weights are for the Meade ETX 125 & 105 OTA's are. If anyone owns one of the OTA's which has been removed from the fork mounts then I would be grateful if the would share this information. Thanks in advance.

My ‘de-forked’ ETX105 OTA in its current form/guise weighs approx. 5.75lbs / 2.60kg's as shown below.

 

The OTA diameter is approx. 4.88inches / 124mm.

My deforked ETX125 OTA weighs 3.31kg. That's with no mounting rings or finderscope, but does include the rear plastic moulding assembly incorporating the flip mirror etc. If you want the weight with the plastic rear assembly removed let me know. 🙂

That's really helpful Alan. Thanks. I am looking to buy either the 105 or 125 whichever becomes available. To mount it on my AZ GTi.
