first attempt at astrophotography with a DSLR camera

Hi I have not tried using a DSLR camera through a telescope until last night on the moon which was a total disaster.

With much more consultation with the manual I tried again tonight as the moon was very clear, success I did manage to get couple of passable pictures but much more studying to do.

All in all I really enjoyed the effort.

The last time I used a camera which was the Russian Zenith was to photograph a partial eclipse of the sun down under using the projection method still have the pictures the date was 11/09/1988

Good old film you didn't know what you had captured until the film came back !!
