did anyone see the size of the halow around the moon on saturday night, thats the biggest ive ever seen it!

Absolutely! Awesome! I took a pic, i'll have a look see if it came out.

The halo I saw was completely round, and looked very rainbow-esque, lots of bands of colour. Sadly the pics didn't come out, but the last time the moon was like that I did get some snaps.

Was it like this for you?

Yep, saw it too, pity the camera was on the scope imaging, not sure it would have been possible to image it with the 18mm lens it was that big, awesome sight.

no nothing it like it, it was a clear night and im not joking it was massive i live in a valley and it seemed to have filled a quarter of the sky, would of been a beautiful picture.

i think its about time to invest in a good camera

That's the one I saw, it was huge..........., the circumscribed arc would have required a fisheye lens to fit it in, I saw it about 2am, have never seen one as big and beautiful, the full arc was clearly visible.
