Aftermarket Guided Mount for LX200 12"

All,

Curious if anyone has any idea on where to start to assess how to replace the stock mount.  It has broken numerous times over the years, and I am ready to consider moving on.

 

Would be nice to have both laptop and smart phone capability (guessing if computer can connect, will be some way to utilize smart phone).

I did some searching of the forums and didn't seem to come up with much, apologies if I've missed a location for questions like this.

If you want to stick with Meade, there's the LX850 mount.

I saw that.  Have you had any experience with it?  Can be mounted to the portable tripod that came with the scope?  Even with an adapter, or is it meant for permanent?

My needs are temporary/portable not fixed.

Have a look at onstep. 
Here is my lx200 which also had dicky drives fixed up with modern motors and electronics.
