Rushed home tonight to try and get some lunar observing done, imaging was out of the question due to mist and thin cloud. By the time I was ready the murk had thickened but I managed to snap a halo with the 1000D.

No idea of the settings I just focused manually with Live Preview and held the shutter open for 15 seconds :(

This is my 1st Lunar Halo
