hi how do i know what firmware i have on my heq5 mount and do i need a handset to update firmware or can i just connect  my pc to the mount thanks

The handset needs to be connected to the mount and the motor control firmware uploader to check the firmware version Sky-Watcher | Sky-Watcher Global Website. There is another version of the uploader for wifi equipped mounts, either built in or a wifi dongle.
