stellarium Help please.

HI,

I'm a bit of a retro on the PC front. I anticipated down loading this free programme (Stellarium) but at the point of running the programme it warned me of no author signature showed so therfore I aborted.

Is this safe software to download? are there any risks? I've got Vista and very good security, I believe (Bulldog)

Would appreciate any reasurance from any of you pc experts out there.

It certainly looks better that faffing around with paper charts.

Hi paul,

I installed the Stellarium package yesterday and have learned more in one night than reading books and mags it is a great website IMHO. If you dont know your lat + long position log on to google earth, enter your post code and you can pinpoint your exact location. Hope this helps and Im not teaching my grandmother to suck eggs.
