Well tonight is the night- blessed with perfect clear skies and an absolutely breathtaking view of Jupiter with Io playing peekaboo or rather just finishing a shadow transit and Saturn nestling up under his moons not much further out than Callisto! Jupiter seems to have gained a fifth  moon too! Titan clearly visible and in moments of clarity I think i could just make out Casini division in the same view! Saturn looking very orange. A beautiful sight!

With the weather forecast tomorrow 100% clouds at 4-5pm & pretty clear late afternoon today, I got my Mak 150 out for a look before they disappear over the roof tops. Searched out Jupiter in the finder as still light at 4pm. Both Jupiter and Saturn easily in the same view in my 14mm Morpheus. Beautiful sight with Saturn hovering above Jupiter. Got a couple of phone pics to keep also.
