Cheers Moonshed :) yep I recently got my rocket flying licence :)

I have just got a ZWO camera so I am very keen to give that a go.

I hope you were careful coming through re-entry because as my wife asked me recently “Why do they always go through the hot bit?” Sigh......
I have also just purchased a ZWO and looking forward to trying it on the moon.

Because it is such a ride.

Since I bought my ZWO, I haven't had clear skies or opportunity.

I know the feeling, I got my ZWO 3 weeks ago and have had very few opportunities to use it. I’ve a good mind to send it back because they promised me great images of the planets.

I managed a short time with my ZWO a couple of nights ago.

Conditions were pretty rubbish so I am sure the images won't be great but it was useful to practice focussing and have bit a mess around with Sharpcap settings.

Cheers

I initially tried Sharpcap with my ZWO but had problems with over exposure, I could only get a large white featureless ball that could have been anything, so I switched to FireCapture, problem solved.  I was clearly doing something wrong in the Sharpcap settings but it doesn’t matter now because I have become a big fan of FireCapture.
you obviously find Sharpcap to be okay.

Hi Keith

I have firecapture on the laptop. I might have to give it a go.

Hoping to process something tomorrow.

Cheers

Hope it turns out well for you, at least we can still process images even when it’s total cloud cover.
