New EQ6-R Pro Issue?

Hi

Image below shows a phd graph, scale is +/- 4 on the y and 400 on x.

Graph shows what I believe is a mechanical issue as the RA spikes are evenly spaced.

When I got the mount the DEC had a tiny bit of backlash which I removed. Both motors sound even when slewing full rotations. Any ideas? Should I just back off the RA worm gear a tiny amount?

My thoughts exactly, buts it’s far more regular than a full worm cycle

Use phd log viewer to do a frequency analysis. Eg, a 120 s period would indicate the timing pulley on the RA motor. A 10 s period indicates a loose RA belt, etc. The log viewer can help. There’s a link to it on the phd web site.

Thanks I have it, I’ll have a look later :)
