JMarkJ
Hi, whilst I like my Sky-Watcher StarQuest-102R f/4.9 Achromatic Refractor Telescope i find the Finderscope hardwork .Sometimes i get a red dot and sometimes i don't, despite changing batteries, trying to align so i can see a dot ive given up with it. Anyone have any recommendations? As to a decent finder scope that i can use with the Starquest? Thanks
ScouseSpaceCadet
There is a bit of a knack to seeing the dot. If you don't already, stand well back from the diagonal/eyepiece end, lower chin to the height of the scope, and most importantly, keep both eyes open.
