When animals attack!

I had a very nice time observing the sun this morning from the edge of a field when some meddling bird bombed my gear as I was packing an eyepiece away. Luckily it only hit some bits that can be cleaned and didn't go down into the diagonal which wasn't capped at the time!

They have no respect for nice gear .......

There used to be an old joke about someone getting splatted like that and his mate asked if he wanted some loo paper and he replied that it would be no good as the bird would be miles away by now......
