The QRM (interference) that came... and WENT! :D

Recommended Posts

Just a bit of random / trivial good news... I thought I'd share! 🥳

Not sure what the heck this was... but ^^^ QRM (interference) was pretty
much "taking out" aircraft band... Upto and including 136MHz satellite(?)
for about a week. 🤬 Then, just mysteriously as it came, it dissappeared! 😀

But I was a bit intrigued... The spacing of the "comb" peaks is ~28kHz ?!? 🤔
Just wondering if anyone ELSE had ever seen such a thing?

P.S. The following has "infested" the 15m amateur band for as long as...  🙄

</wibble> 🥳

Have seen this comb effect on various bands but cannot pin point what does it.

Normally it does not stop operations, as I run mainly digital modes it's not a problem.

I have just found out I have a wide band hash on 2metres but it's mainly to the SE.
