Observing from a dark sky in Cornwall

...so many stars! The Summer Triangle area is spectacular and I counted countless dozens of stars within it.  Been cloudy whilst camping just a mile or so from Land’s End but last night it cleared and with the bins it was most enjoyable.

Us who are familiar with suburban skies miss out greatly and I most definitely want to move to a dark sky when I move house next.

Very nice, must have been wonderful. The Cornish skies are amazing, I have stayed near Bude a few times and got lost in the profusion stars in the inky blackness. I was just round the corner from Eddington Lodge and plan to experience their 20” dobs under those wonderful dark skies some time.
