Hello,

Hope everyone safe & well.  Here is from earlier this week a wide-field.  I'm really enjoying the clear dark skies here (although a lot of dew at night w sea-breezes - didn't bring dew-straps...).  And I'm really enjoying the wide-field imaging - I think there is some CA (just a normal Pentax lens)?  And @nicoscy I am really enjoying the ASI294MC Pro!

(PS - the focusing could be a lot sharper but I'm relying on manual adjustments of a focus-ring...)

It's showing some promise, maybe try some star reduction to help bring out the nebulosity.

Thanks Mark. Crikey I didn't even know there was such a thing as star reduction - will read up on it - cheers for the tip!

@MarkAR I see what you mean w the star reduction.  I'm sure this is still clumsily done, but it is more restful on the eyes & the nebulae do come out more.  Thanks for the tip!

I went back to this area last night, this time with a UHC filter on top of the CLS-CCD (to try & create a triband filter).  I think this is a better image (w star reduction done as well )?
