Second attempt at moon

Tried getting some images of the moon on 2nd Jan through the Newtonian but found that despite the centre looking reasonably ok the outer edges were very blurred. Would the blurring at the edges be due to coma?

Anyway, not being very happy with the images obtained, I had another attempt last night, this time through the Onyx 80EDF. No doubt this can be improved on in time, but as a complete novice I am happy with the early results. Image taken with Canon 450d, attached to 31mm baader hyperion.
