Which Lens?

I’m having problems finding a used apo telescope at the price I can afford to pay.

I have managed to get myself a decent EQ5 mount and a Canon modded 700D. So my thoughts have moved across to buying a lens that would at least get me into using the kit I have acquired.

So my question is, can anyone advise on what lens I should acquire with a restricted budget (£150)? Or should I just keep hold of my pennies, be patient and wait for the right apo scope to come along?

If you are wanting lenses that provide good value for money then you should look for an old Takumar M42 lens.

The kit lens would provide a start if your camera name with one as there's lots to learn on acquiring and processing an astro image.
