First few photos!

Took first few photos on piggyback tonight, i'm surprised i got any results at all on my first attempt! - any criticisms/help would be appreciated.

Camera: Sony DSC-H3 piggybacked on Skywatcher 130PM.

Above: This one is Pleiades, 10x zoom, auto ASA (which turns out was 125), f4.4, 30secs.

I think i need to fiddle with the settings a little more, 800 looks a bit noisy, and also i forgot to select the setting that locks the focus on infinity, possibly why they're not totally sharp? Perhaps a photographer will give me a pointer or two when they pass by here!

What you need to do is learn a few tricks of post processing and your pics will be improved out of all recognition.

I'm not an imager but I'm sure someone will come along and give you a few pointers.

I had a quick fiddle with your Orion's Belt pic.

Yes, very nice photos - especially for a first attempt!

(the crispness of your images just goes to show how good at tracking, the Skywatcher 130P mount is!).

Just got this one this evening. First look at moon, its quite impressive!

Took this one at 10x zoom, ASA800, f4.4, 1/1000s.
