Atmospheric turbulence monitor?

Recommended Posts

So I was wondering if there is a atmospheric turbulence app or website monitor that scans the turbulence in our atmosphere just incase if there is less turbulence so it is ideal for planetary imaging without the atmosphere disrupting it. (IT HAS TO BE AN ACCURATE MONITOR)

I think there's always going to be some.  If it's clear you just give it a try and see how things work out.  Given the frame rates used with modern planetary imaging cameras and the processing techniques used, you really only need short periods of steady seeing to get worthwhile images.
