Moon and Venus

Taken with Canon 75-300mm lens,pleased with the focus.

The starburst on Venus is "as is", not photoshopped.

This one overexposed to show up the earthshine,and the never far away clouds.

Pucker shot mate. The focus and exposure look really good.

You've got some nice detail on the terminator and the starburst on the moon looks cool as well.

Thanks Ant,really wanted to get te scope on the moon but one of the neighbours trees was in the way,drawback of having a fixed pier.I find that focusing with the 350d and its little viewfinder is a bit of a lottery at times but i'm looking at a 450d or maybe a 40d which have liveview.

That's the great thing about digital. You can take 50 images if you want, each time adjusting things very slightly.
