Primer - Choosing a Telescope

Hi Guys

Hope I'm putting this post in correct spot, I've been reading through the seemingly endless reams of information here (and getting lost) anyway I'm ready to buy my first real scope. Looking at the Bresser 130 on a EQ3. Anyone have any thoughts on this brand, anyone have one?

Can you let us know what your interest are, most importantly imaging or visual astronomy?

Thanks for the welcome, Im just a back yard gazer just me my £20 scope found on eBay and my Iphone.

getting tired fo trying to get a good shot through my wobbly tripod, wife wants to see better pictures so with her blessing (wooo Hooo) Im on the hunt for something a bit better.
