Strange Pattern after BatchPreprocessing

Recommended Posts

Hi all,
I am wondering if you could provide some insight into why I am showing what looks like the debayer pattern on the Batchpreprocessing on my series of M101 600sec -10deg integrated image. This was produced from 19 images with a flip involved. They were calibrated with master dark and Flat no Bias.
The camera is ZWO 294 with an LPS filter in the optical train of the TS71.
Hope you can shed some light on what may have produced this effect.
Regards
Gaby

Have you told the stacking software to debayer during stacking. I had a similar patterning effect when I stacked my first OSC image using Astroart and didn't tick the debayering operation on the stacking options. Debayering after stacking produced this patterning.

Which software?

Hi thanks for the replies. I use PixInsight and I do have the CFA images under Global options ticked.

I have just done a manual run on the same files and master image looks fine. Strange BPP does not work!.

Mystery
