More fun resources for lockdown... meteor impacts

So it's the Lyrids (and it's raining!).

Here are some great resources for looking at impact from meteors or comets.  The simulator is great fun 😎

When we do it with kids they always want to make the biggest hole (usually located on their school), but we challenge them to make the smallest hole, and the shallowest, or a particular depth of width...

Have fun, and let me know how you get on

I really hope something 15Km in diameter made of iron and traveling at 80Kms/s doesn't hit my house or Scotland's had it!

What did you say about kids (even old ones) 🤣🤣

Unfortunately the map isn't loading for me, anyone else getting this javascript error please?

"Google Maps JavaScript API error: ExpiredKeyMapError"

I've tried Chrome and Firefox.

Hmm thanks for the heads up - its not working on any browser I've now tried 🥺  I'll try to get feedback to the team.
