Supernova 2020bio in NGC5371

Gary Imms posted an image of NGC5371 from 15 February on Astrobin, and Gotthard Stuhm commented that he had captured a supernova. I imaged the same galaxy and a few more on 13 March without knowing that there was a supernova there, so when I now had another look at the image, it is still there but a bit more dim than in Gary's image taken a month earlier. So here is my image from 13 March and a crop with the supernova pointed out.

Quite fun to have accidentaly captured that supernova before it faded away - maybe it is gone now.....

Gear: Meade 14" LX200R (FL 3550 mm), Sony A7s, EQ8. 186 x 2 min = 6.2 hours.
