why am i still getting dust bunnies ?

Recommended Posts

been trying to get a nice image over the last week or so, i have taken 33 x 3 minute light frames at -15, 31 x flats frames at -15 and around a third of the way along the histogram around 24000 ADU, 15 dark frames at -15 although i`m not sure i need them with this camera, 31 x bias frames at -15 and i`m still getting dust bunnies, any idea what i`m doing wrong.

camera is an Atik 460 mono and i`m using deep sky stacker to stack fits files and saving as fits files.

1 trick to see if your flats are working correctly, is to calibrate a flat with a flat - you should see a complete even result.

If that's working ok, I suspect you've made a mistake in calibrating the lights.
